Delete your Kaunnect account

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Kaunnect and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap Account & privacy.
3. Tap Delete account, then confirm.

Without the app

Email support@kaunnect.com with the subject “Delete my Kaunnect account”, from any address, with the phone number you signed up with. We will send a one-time check to that number to confirm it is yours, then delete the account within 7 days and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

Your profile, photos, date of birth, government ID images, verification video, email, chats, mysteries, hellos, location history, check-ins, wall posts, room history, kudos, Aura, notifications, notification tokens and sessions are deleted immediately. Copies in encrypted backups expire within 30 days.

What we keep

Reports other people made about you, kept for safety review, and a one-way coded form of your phone number (not the number itself) so that blocks placed on you and under-18 closures still apply if the same number signs up again. Nothing else is kept.

Before you go

If you want a copy of your data, use Profile → Account & privacy → Download my data first. Deletion cannot be undone.
